My wife always tells me that I’m the only who can always make her laugh. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t have a monopoly of the comic relief but I sure make it a point to grab every opportunity to make my wife laugh.
Laughter is truly ONE of the best medicines. The Bible says in Proverbs 17:22, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” So what does a medicine do? Cure you of course! So when we laugh, which is by the way, very easy for me, heals our bodies of many illnesses and consequently, we will live a longer and hopefully, a better life
So if you want to love your wife, make her laugh. My wife calls me her Roger Rabbit, the main character in the 1988 movie, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” Roger is, of course, rabbit, but he had a human lover, Jessica. My wife fondly remembers that Jessica loved Roger because he always makes her laugh. I would definitely agree.
Hubbies, we can always upset, offend or anger our wives. Let’s laughter in our repertoire and lessen the others. It is a lot better to hear laughter in the house than shouting or screaming. Its better for you and for your wife.
